Can you believe how many toolbars some folks have when they open their browser?
99% of the time when I ask if they use it, the answer is NO but it sure takes a long time for my browser to open! My number rule one is to NEVER use the default install options for anything. Almost everything I’ve loaded lately has had a toolbar from Ask, Google, Yahoo, Bing or MyWebSearch that gets planted in your browser. Most now have an auto updater as an added piece of software to keep the toolbar current.

Printer software is one of the worst offenders of loading extra stuff. Most of the time, all you need are the basic drivers and nothing else. So folks I’m telling you to take the custom install options and just say No to the bloatware you had coming your way.
